Jim is a co-founder of EZTakes. Prior to EZTakes, Jim was the Chief Operating Officer of a Pitney Bowes (NYSE: PBI) subsidiary that provides software and services for business-to-consumer electronic communications and Internet commerce. Jim came to Pitney when it acquired Alysis Technologies (NASDAQ: ALYS), where Jim also served as COO. In 1996 Jim co-founded @Work Technologies, a leading global provider of Internet billing and payment software. Today @Work's software is being used by numerous billion-dollar organizations, including many national postal services in both Europe and Asia, to deliver electronic bills and receive payments over the Internet. Jim served as @Work's CEO until Alysis acquired the company in 1999. During his career, Jim also started and/or built highly-successful technology companies from the ground up in industries as diverse as document management and international electronic payment systems. Jim began his career at AT&T where he held positions in sales, computer hardware engineering and software development. In 1996 Jim co-authored one of the first books on the Java programming language, Visual J++ Java Programming. He earned an MBA from New York University with dual concentrations in Finance and International Business, as well as a Bachelor of Science with magna cum laude honors from Manhattan College. Jim has authored a number of patents, both issued and pending, and has published many articles in well-respected technology, trade and scholarly journals. He is both a Certified Document Imaging Architect and a Microsoft Certified Professional.

Bill Clarke, Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Bill is a co-founder of EZTakes. Prior to EZTakes, Bill Clarke was Vice President of Software Development at a $40M Pitney Bowes subsidiary that specialized in large-scale business-to-consumer communications and electronic commerce. Bill came to Pitney when it acquired Alysis Technologies, a public company, where Bill also served as VP of Software Development. Bill came to Alysis in 1999 when it acquired @Work Technologies, a leading global provider of Internet billing and payment software where Bill was Chief Technology Officer and a co-founder. Prior to @Work, Bill was VP of Development at Greenbar Software, a leading vendor of document management technology that was acquired by FileNet Corporation. Before Greenbar, Bill was a VP at International Financial Systems Ltd. (IFSL), a leading provider of international electronic money transfer software where Bill worked for thirteen years. In 1996 Bill co-authored one of the first books on the Java programming language, Visual J++ Java Programming. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Steve Kramer, Vice President of Content

Steve brings to EZTakes over twenty years of experience in the home video market, as a buyer, distributor and an entrepreneur. He has a nearly encyclopedic level of knowledge of movies and the film industry in general. In 1994 Steve founded The Picture Palace, the world's first pure play on-line video store, selling hard-to-find VHS titles and later DVDs. Since taking his position at EZTakes, Steve has utilized his knowledge of the "long tail" (i.e. rare and independent) market for videos to help EZTakes build one the largest and most diverse video catalogs of any company competing in the download space. Steven earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University.
