Plot
Africa: The Serengeti takes you on an extraordinary journey to view a spectacle which few humans have ever witnessed, the Great Migration across the Serengeti plains in Tanzania and Kenya. James Earl Jones narrates this stunning, award-winning film (originally released in IMAX theaters) that explores the natural beauty and timeless cycles of Africa's Serengeti plains.

A Place on Earth Where the Great Herds Still Run Free

Journey with more than two million wildebeests, zebras and antelopes in their annual 500-mile trek across the Serengeti Plains. Experience the heart-pounding chorus of hooves and the amazing spectacle of migrating animals as far as the eye can see. In deadly pursuit of their migrating prey are some of Africa's greatest predators including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals and crocodiles.

Also featured in this documentary are a fascinating array of animals including giraffes, elephants, monkeys, baboons and vultures. In a place where life and death dramas are enacted daily, this film is a tribute to the thundering herds as they set out on their migratory odyssey.

With stunningly beautiful footage, filmed entirely on location in Kenya and Tanzania, Africa: The Serengeti brings you spectacular vistas and truly breathtaking aerials vividly detailing life and death in an unforgettable film experience.
