Benton was required reading in High School literature and a revered classic vampire story so I was a little worried that an independent film would not be able to do the story justice. I was wrong. They did an excellent job and delivered a film that was both subtle and truely frightening. Above all else Magenta Brooks, as the title character, was perfect. Her beauty is elegant and her performance was smooth and chilling. Highly reccommended. |
