RAISE THE CASTLE is Japan's hit satirical comedy that has been called a cross between Akira Kurosawa and Monty Python.
Yo Kohatsu's RAISE THE CASTLE! follows the activities of a professor who is possessed by the spirit of a samurai legend, and attempts to live out the great warrior's dreams by building a castle. Unfortunately his efforts are marred by a lack of materials, so together with two other citizens (who are also possessed) the professor begins to build, using the only material available to him--cardboard.
